The Jam Pantry really is a labour of love for Gideon and I, and our family.
We opened our doors on the 20th of January 2015, after 4 months of gutting and refitting an old Thai restaurant in Greenslopes.
We've had our hand in every aspect of the Cafe, from initial site assessment and concept,to drawing plans and council applications, project management and execution of interior design, menu planning and design, staff training, concepts for artwork and even web design.
We are a couple with over 25 years industry experience, who enjoy being in control of each and every detail that reflects our passion and its' subsequent delivery. The Jam Pantry is the third cafe that we've owned over the last 18 years and our favourite by far. She has beautifully allowed us to continue or journey of exploring our emotional connection to food. If you'd like to know more about this journey, jump on to my blog at and head to the "Finding Comfort" tab. (You might want to grab a hanky).
We've also been awarded the Courier Mail's, "Cafe of the Year" for 2018.
